casey, julia and nick go to canadia on a dreary burlington sunday afternoon

stopped at the border pretty much to make us wait i think
but we were fortunate enough to see this wonderful car covered with support the troops stickers and a sicky balls decal of a wolf coming out of the car door
made the whole stop all that much better and worthwhile

casey was able to quench his 3 year long wait and purchased his favorite canadian beer at the first store we came across



then we just took our time and waited for montreal

as soon as we crossed the border the whole day sort of brightened
the clouds cleared, temp rose, and sun came out

montreal was simply beautiful
super busy with streets closed off due to jazz fest, but we were able to find a spot right across from the venue

we didnt know it was the venue when we parked there, but it was a pleasant surprise

had some grub, happy hour, so had a few too many drinks as well




then headed to catch some radiohead

julia was down on the floor with a perfect view of the stage
i dont think there could possibly have been a bad seat at this venue


casey and I were on the first balcony center which was a great too, except everyone decided to sit for the whole show, trying not to obstruct anyones view, which was nice, but tough to sit and dance through



as soon as they left for the encore i snuck down to watch the remainder of the show with julia
